If Supporters With the Maximum Credit Balance Possible Over a Three-Year Period Cannot Be Guaranteed the Opportunity to Purchase a Ticket for an Away Fixture, Will There Be a Ballot?
Updated
If the Club receives an exceptionally small allocation for an away fixture, it may not be possible to guarantee all supporters with the highest number of credits the opportunity to buy a ticket.
In this scenario, match credits from earlier seasons may also be included as criteria, using as many previous seasons as needed to identify and ensure supporters with the highest number of match credits are given priority. In this instance, all matches from additional previous seasons would be included as criteria for the relevant fixture.
For example, if there were insufficient fixtures in the previous three seasons (2025/26, 2024/25 and 2023/24) to determine which supporters should get priority access to tickets for a specific away fixture, all fixtures from 2022/23 would become relevant to determine supporters with the highest number of match credits.
If this was still not sufficient to determine the sales priority, then - since no credits were awarded during the 2020/21 and 2021/22 seasons due to the impact of COVID-19 - all fixtures from 2019/20 would also be taken into account, and so on.
