If the club does not compete in any European competition for a season or more, how will that impact multi-year loyalty (MYL) and my credit balance?
Updated
Each supporter will have a Credit Balance for European home and European away fixtures. These totals will include any match credits earned across any European competitions in the relevant period covered by the Credit Balance. This will cover three full seasons once the transition to MYL is complete.
In the event that the club does not compete in a European competition for one season or two seasons within the MYL period, the fixtures in the other seasons relevant to a supporter's Credit Balance would continue to be used.
However, if this reduced number of fixtures meant there were insufficient fixtures to guarantee supporters with the highest number of credits for a European away fixture, additional seasons may be used to determine loyalty.
This is explained in more detail in our related FAQ on ballots for supporters with the maximum three-year credit balance.
In the event that the club does not compete in any European competition during any of the three seasons within the MYL period, the club will communicate the ticketing sales approach ahead of the next season in which the club qualifies for European competition.
