Why can't I forward my ticket?
Updated
There are three main reasons you may not be able to forward a ticket:
Ticket Forwarding isn’t available or accessible. It’s usually open a week before games and may be temporarily unavailable during high-demand sales, queues, or ballots.
The supporter receiving isn’t eligible. The supporter must have a valid All Red membership or General Admission NFC pass, must not already have a ticket for the match.
The ticket can’t be forwarded. Some tickets from certain sales such as the Additional Members sale, Local Members sale or Local General sale are non-transferable, and tickets can’t be forwarded back to the original Season Ticket holder.

Alternatively, you can use the Ticket Exchange to return your seat. This is only available for Premier League home games.
