What happens to the match credit if a ticket is forwarded?

It varies depending on the competition. For Premier League home fixtures, both the supporter who forwards a ticket and the receiving supporter will not earn a match credit.
However, for European away, Cup home and any tickets bought through the Auto Cup Scheme (ACS), only the supporter who forwarded the ticket will earn a match credit.
If the supporter was unable to successfully provide payment under the ACS, they would not earn a match credit regardless of if they were forwarded a ticket by another supporter.
