What is the Access Card Scheme?
Updated
Nimbus Disability is the organisation behind the Access Card scheme and works with thousands of venues, attractions, theatres, arenas and sporting organisations across the UK.
The Access Card Scheme provides a trusted, independent way for disabled people to communicate their access requirements, helping organisations deliver the appropriate support while making the process simpler and more consistent for everyone involved.
Nimbus reviews supporting evidence and assigns symbols that identify the reasonable adjustments the individual may require. These symbols help us understand and meet supporters access needs quickly and consistently.
Through this scheme, supporters with access requirements who do not already have an Access Card can apply for a Liverpool FC Digital Access Pass free of charge. This means that no supporter will be required to pay the £15 Access Card fee if they do not wish to.
The ID number provided through the free Liverpool FC application can be used specifically with Liverpool FC, while an Access Card ID number can be used across a wide range of events and venues.
