How do I remove the maintenance page from the app once the works have been completed?
Updated
Sometimes we will activate a maintenance page to provide key updates to the app and improve the overall shopping experience for our fans when the official Liverpool FC store is under maintenance.
Once the maintenance period is over we will remove the maintenance page at which point it is necessary to close the app and re-open it in order to access the store. Simply switching between apps or returning to your phone home screen is not enough.
You must fully close and reopen the Official Liverpool FC Store app to access the latest content. If you do not do this, the app may still display the maintenance page or outdated content.
Android
Exit the app fully.
Tap the Recent Apps or Overview button, which is usually a square or three bar icon.
Swipe the Liverpool FC Store app off the screen, left, right or up, so it is no longer running.
Reopen the app.
iOS
Completely close the app.
Without a Home button: swipe up from the bottom and hold to open the app switcher.
With a Home button: double press the Home button.
Locate the Liverpool FC Store card and swipe it upwards off the screen to force close it.
Relaunch the app.
This step only needs to be completed once after the maintenance page disappears. If the app still shows the maintenance page after reopening, closing and reopening again can help.
Do not simply tap Close or Back within the app, these do not fully close the app. Switching to another app and back does not count as a full reload.
