Why am I being asked to change my password?

Updated

At Liverpool FC we are committed to keeping your personal data safe and secure. We have recently updated our password complexity rules, so you may be asked to update your password when you next try to log in to some of our sites.

We may ask you to reset your password on the following sites:

  1. liverpoolfc.com

  2. store.liverpoolfc.com

  3. video.liverpoolfc.com

To reset your password please click on the 'forgotten password' link within the login box. You will then be sent an email detailing how to reset your password.

When setting a new password, make sure it meets the following requirements:

  • Between 8 and 30 characters long

  • Contains a mix of capital and lower case letters

  • Contains at least one number

  • Contains at least one special character, e.g. !@#$%^()=?;:.

⚠️ You won't be able to use a password that doesn't meet these requirements or has been used before on this or another one of our systems, so if your new password is rejected please try another password that you don't use anywhere else.
