Video streaming problems
Updated
We recommend viewing from a wired connection with a download bandwidth of at least 700Kbps. To view in HD you will need to have higher download speeds.
As a general rule, your download bandwidth must be greater than the bitrate of the event broadcast you’re trying to view.
If you are experiencing issues, try improving or changing internet connections. If the problems persist, please try one of the following:
If watching on our website (video.liverpoolfc.com), please make sure you have installed the latest version of your browser, or try a different browser. It can also be helpful to clear your browser’s cache and cookies.
If you’re watching on our mobile (Android/iOS) or connected TV (Fire TV, Android TV or Roku) apps, then please make sure you have the latest version of the relevant app installed.
If your connection is strong enough and you have tried the above without result, then please contact us our support team here.
To help us troubleshoot, please include the following information when you contact us:
1.Where are you trying to watch? Tell us the device (eg ‘iPhone 14’ or ‘Windows laptop’) and whether you’re watching on the website or through one of our apps.
If you are watching on the website, let us know which browser you’re using;
If watching on the app, please specify which one (from mobile Android, iOS, Android TV, Fire TV and Roku).
2.Do you have an up to date app and/or browser? Please confirm if you have followed the suggested steps above and check you have the latest browser or app on your device.
3.If you are having issues with a specific video, please let us know which one. If you’re on the website, please include the URL.
4.Please provide a detailed description of the problems you are having, i.e. constant buffering, muffled audio, missing text, blank screen etc.
